Dangling by a Thread

On King's Island, hermit Jesse Lockhart has dedicated his life to protecting the endangered Great Cormorants, but his solitude is threatened when a wealthy family seeks to buy the island and his cousin Simon pushes for a power of attorney to force a sale. As Mainely Needlepointer Dave Perry and others rally to defend Jesse, tragedy strikes when he is found dead, igniting a search for the connection between his murder and the motives of those who sought to control the island.
