In the gripping debut Sirens & Muses, four artists navigate a complex world of rivalry and desire at the elite Wrynn College of Art in 2011, amid the backdrop of America's recession and the rise of Occupy Wall Street. Scholarship student Louisa Arceneaux grapples with her artistic identity while becoming romantically entangled with her charismatic roommate, Karina Piontek, who is also drawn to anti-capitalist provocateur Preston Utley. As Preston's controversial hoax disrupts their lives, the characters face the challenges of redefining themselves in an increasingly cutthroat New York art scene, exploring themes of class, money, and personal authenticity.
