In the Blue Ridge Mountains, Kat Jamison seeks solitude to grapple with her breast cancer diagnosis and the recent loss of her husband. However, her retreat is upended by two spirited children, Lily and Nirav, and a pair of abandoned dogs. When a wildfire threatens their safety, Kat must lead the group through the perilous terrain, forcing her to confront her own fight for survival and what truly matters in her life.
