In the engaging Brinkley Yearbook graphic novel series, Alexandra, or Al, navigates the challenge of trying out for the historically boys-only middle school baseball team after aging out of Little League. Encouraged by her friend Sammy, Al is determined to prove her worth and is pleasantly surprised when the coach welcomes her onto the team.
