Women of a Promiscuous Nature

On a chilly February morning, Ruth Foster's routine is shattered when the local sheriff forces her to a health clinic for testing, alleging the need to prevent the spread of disease. By day's end, she finds herself imprisoned at the State Industrial Farm Colony for Women, alongside others arrested for a variety of perceived sins, from promiscuity to simply being unmarried. Under the watchful eye of Superintendent Dorothy Baker, who believes she's reforming "degenerate" women, the inmates face harsh treatment and strict rules, but some are determined to resist and fight for their freedom.
