Broken Angels

In a harrowing tale set during World War II, "The Girl in the Picture" follows three intertwined characters: Elsi, a young girl in the Lodz Ghetto who joins a resistance group; Matilda, a spirited Romanian child forced into a life of indoctrination in Germany; and Willem, a Nazi doctor who grapples with his conscience as he witnesses the atrocities of the regime. As each character fights for freedom, love, and sacrifice become their guiding forces amid the horrors of war. Together, they navigate a world torn apart by hatred and pursue a glimmer of hope for their futures.
