The Death King

At fifteen, the protagonist witnesses the conquering of her kingdom by the Death King, who commands the dead and enslaves her for a decade in the Arid Sands. Despite her harrowing existence under the obsessive General Titan, her life takes a dramatic turn when she discovers her unique ability to communicate with dragons. After an escape attempt leads her to the Death King's dragon, she unwittingly attracts the king's attention, who spares her life and seeks her allegiance for an undisclosed cause, forcing her to confront the dark past he represents. As tension mounts, she must navigate her conflicting feelings of attraction and betrayal, all while facing the Death King's relentless pursuit.
