Death Holds the Key

Set in Western Australia in 1928, this story follows Detective Constable Hartley as he investigates a mysterious murder on the Tolhurst farmstead. When he discovers the patriarch’s locked-room death, Hartley must sift through potential suspects, including a widely disliked family member. His investigation takes a turn when he encounters a knowledgeable mendicant friar who has experience solving crimes, adding a unique twist to the case.
