In William Somerset Maugham's comedy, "The Constant Wife," Lady Catherine Champion-Cheney returns to her former home after years abroad, finding herself amidst familial tensions and romantic entanglements. Her son Arnold and his discontented wife, Elizabeth, navigate their strained marriage, exacerbated by Elizabeth's flirtation with the charming suitor Teddy Luton. As secrets unfold and relationships are tested, the play explores themes of love, fidelity, and the choices women make in pursuit of happiness. Presented by The Online Stage, this engaging three-act comedy invites listeners into a world of wit and intrigue.
