In a tense mystery set in the Armenian-American enclave of Cavanaugh Street, Philadelphia, a black van raises suspicions amidst a series of ICE raids. The discovery of Marta Warkowski, a reclusive woman, bound and unconscious in a garbage bag after falling from the van, raises questions about her connection to a body found in her apartment and the local developer Cary Alder. As former FBI agent Gregor Demarkian comes out of retirement for one last case, he must navigate the intricacies of a community shrouded in secrets to uncover the truth behind the violence and intrigue.
