Bad Things

In "The Piper Clan," the story follows Rick Piper, who returns to his ancestral home in Santo Verde, California, after losing his wife. Raised in a Gothic Victorian estate steeped in family history and dark secrets, Rick grapples with his childhood gift of "the sight," which allows him to see the mischievous greenjacks—tiny demons linked to his family's past. Despite wanting to dismiss them as mere childhood fears, the greenjacks return with dangerous intentions, now threatening Rick's own children.
