The Songbird of Wychwood

In The Songbird of Wychwood, set in London in 1860, poet and publishing editor Percy Harcourt discovers a heartfelt letter from his grandfather that compels him to seek companionship through a mysterious gold token. This token leads him to Wychwood, an elite gathering spot where music hall performer George Dancie, known for his flamboyant alter ego 'Miss Georgette,' entertains a discerning clientele. At a lavish party, sparks fly between George and a captivating newcomer, only for the gentleman to mysteriously disappear, leaving George longing for a connection he barely knows.
