In a mountain where access is tightly controlled by the formidable Gate of Ice, a secret smuggler's gate, carved over decades by the tenacious Southcaver dwarves, offers a hidden alternative. Topaz, the daughter of a Southcaver smelter, finds herself unexpectedly entangled in the struggles surrounding this clandestine passage and the ambitions of the elusive Smuggler Prince.
