Pickett's Charge

In this engaging tale, Threadgill Pickett, a Civil War veteran, escapes from an Alabama old folks home, embarking on a quest to find and kill the last living Union soldier in revenge for his brother's death. As he journeys north, he encounters an eclectic mix of characters, including two brothers constructing a time machine, a trio of Klu Klux Klan members, and a unique truck-driving woman. Threadgill's adventure also leads him to a harmonious Utopian society that transcends racial boundaries, blending themes of comedy and tragedy along the way.
