Leaving Protection

In southeast Alaska, 16-year-old Robbie Daniels seizes the opportunity to work as a deckhand on a salmon troller captained by the renowned fisherman Tor Torsen. While living his dream of catching king salmon, Robbie uncovers Tor's dark secret: he is illegally hunting for historic metal plaques from Russian explorers. Faced with the dangerous implications of this knowledge and the threats posed by both Tor and an impending storm, Robbie must summon all his courage and wits to survive.
