After the wealthy Colonel Delamere dies during a botched burglary, his friend Eric Ward finds himself tasked with managing the estate and unraveling the mystery behind the Colonel's last wishes regarding a valuable ancient Egyptian statuette. Originally discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter, this artefact holds significant implications for the Middle East and was meant for the Foreign Office, but thieves have stolen it. As Eric navigates this complex situation, he encounters an Israeli secret agent, the Foreign Office, and various factions eager to claim the cursed statuette for themselves.
