Survival in Singapore

In September 1943, an Australian commando unit conducts a bold raid on Singapore Harbour, initiating a fierce retaliation from Japan's military police, the Kempei Tai. Major Sumida Haruzo intensifies his pursuit of the saboteurs, leading to the arrest of numerous British internees and Chinese Singaporeans. Among them are Elizabeth Choy, a daring schoolteacher smuggling aid into a notorious prison, and Robert Heatlie Scott, a senior diplomat who survives brutal circumstances only to face recapture. As they endure horrific conditions and the struggle for survival, Elizabeth and Robert must navigate a world where reality becomes distorted and the fight for truth may cost them everything.
