In a near-future Oakland on the brink of civil war, economic disparity and constant surveillance shape the lives of three individuals: Lilly Miyamoto, a dedicated analog photographer; Huian Li, a powerful tech CEO; and Graham Chandler, a disillusioned intelligence agent. After Huian rescues Lilly from a confrontation with private security, their fates intertwine, leading to a whirlwind of political intrigue and ambition.
