A Scandalous Affair

In the midst of the Great War, Joanna Holmes and the Watsons are summoned to 221B Baker Street by Sir William Radcliffe, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, who reveals a troubling case of blackmail. An unknown adversary has acquired compromising photographs that threaten not only Sir William's reputation but also the future of his granddaughter's engagement. With Scotland Yard unable to intervene for fear of scandal, it falls to Joanna and the Watsons to unravel the mystery, retrieve the incriminating images, and protect the integrity of the chancellor's family before it's too late.
