The Bootlegger's Daughter

In Prohibition-era Los Angeles, two women, Letty Hart and Officer Annabel Forman, navigate the challenges of a male-dominated society as they pursue their ambitions against the backdrop of crime and law enforcement. Letty, forced to adapt after losing her family's contract for sacramental wine, turns to bootlegging to secure her future, while Annabel fights to break free from her clerical role in the LAPD to investigate a series of murders linked to the underground liquor trade. As both women redefine their morals and seek power, they find their paths inevitably intersecting in a battle against the established forces that threaten them.
