Aquarium

After graduating college, Sasha, also known as Alex, sets out to work aboard a luxury cruise ship in hopes of healing from her past depression in Ukraine. As she navigates the realities of life at sea, she encounters hierarchies, sexism, and classism that challenge her understanding of herself and her environment. Despite the routine, she seeks connection through small acts of rebellion and intimacy, revealing a complex and often unsettling glimpse into a world driven by power and psychological pressure. Inspired by real events, Aquarium explores the human toll behind the glamour of a five-star escape.
