A Jewel in the Crown

In 1940, as Germany threatens to invade Britain after Dunkirk, Winston Churchill concocts a daring plan to protect the Crown Jewels by shipping them overseas. In a covert operation, two unlikely operatives—a Welsh coalminer’s daughter, Caitrin Colline, and the aristocratic Lord Marlton, Hector Neville-Percy—pose as a married couple to transport the jewels from London to Scotland and eventually to Canada. Alongside their perilous mission, they are tasked with identifying Nazi sympathizers among the British elite, leading Caitrin to question the loyalty of those around her as she finds herself caught in a life-or-death race across Europe, where the fate of the nation hangs in the balance.
