Arlie Montgomery, a thriller author from Crimson Falls, finds her career unexpectedly ignited by the tragic death of her husband. As the anniversary of his passing approaches, she discovers a mysterious man with no memory in the woods and brings him into her home. However, with the town's cursed Founders Day approaching, a series of murders begins mirroring the plots from Arlie's own novels. Faced with rising suspicions and a ticking clock, Arlie must unravel the mystery and stop a killer who may just be a reflection of her own imagination.
