When Jim Qwilleran's friend Polly heads to Oregon for a vacation, he unexpectedly finds himself drawn into a mystery involving his friend Nick Bamba. Nick and his wife are worried that their new business, the Domino Inn, is at risk due to a string of fatal accidents on nearby Breakfast Island.
