In 1996, Lola escapes her troubled home in England to seek a new life on a kibbutz in Northern Israel, only to find that the utopia is fraught with hidden dangers amid escalating tensions on the Arab-Israeli border. Meanwhile, cub reporter Jonny Murphy, working for the International Tribune, receives a mysterious tip that leads him into peril as he investigates the aftermath of a rocket attack from Lebanon. When the body of an Arab worker is discovered on the kibbutz, secrets unravel, placing both Lola and the entire community in jeopardy as Jonny navigates the complexities of truth and belonging.
