Widowland

In a gripping alternative history set in 1953 London, a reimagined monarchy thrives under King Edward VIII, with most power held by Alfred Rosenberg, who is particularly focused on controlling women's roles in society. Rose Ransom, an elite woman working at the Ministry of Culture, is tasked with infiltrating the dangerous slums of Widowland, where rebellious women have begun to express dissent through subversive graffiti. With mounting insurgencies threatening the regime, Rose must uncover the source of this unrest before the Coronation ceremony destabilizes the precarious order.
