A Distant Dawn

After the death of their parents, twenty-four-year-old Sunniva Lyndall and her younger brother, Tracy, embark on a journey from their Ohio Valley home to California, armed with the money from their family's farm sale. Their excitement quickly turns to hardship when a con-man swindles them, leaving them with no funds to purchase supplies. With California looking increasingly unattainable, Sunny finds work with the Pony Express, where she becomes the station manager and Tracy the express rider. As they navigate unexpected challenges, Sunny must summon her strength and determination to pursue their dreams amid the trials of the West.
