Beast Rider

Twelve-year-old Manuel journeys from his small Mexican town to Los Angeles to join his brother, taking on the risky challenge of becoming a “beast rider” to cross the border. Facing numerous dangers along the way, he finds unexpected support from villagers who help him continue his quest. Upon reaching LA, Manuel experiences the excitement of reunion, but soon begins to see that things may not be what they seem. This heartfelt coming-of-age story explores how a place and its people can shape who you are.
