Dog Gone

On October 10, 1998, Fielding Marshall embarks on a hike along the Appalachian Trail with his golden retriever, Gonker, who soon disappears into the woods. With Gonker's Addison's disease putting his life at risk, Fielding, alongside his father John, mobilizes a search effort, deepening their bond while his mother, Virginia, coordinates extensive outreach to local communities and media to aid in the search. As the family grapples with their past struggles, their shared mission remains clear: to bring Gonker home safely.
