Matricide

In Baiae, 59 AD, Aemilius Valerius and Junius Atreus arrive for what is supposed to be a leisurely holiday amidst the town's renowned hot springs and vibrant nightlife. However, their retreat quickly turns into a perilous investigation when a young patrician woman is murdered, thrusting them into a web of mystery involving cults, imperial dinners, and the unpredictable antics of a chaotic party planner. With tensions rising as Nero's mother, Agrippina, approaches—harboring deep animosity toward Valerius—they must solve the murder before their lives and the empire’s fate are irreversibly altered.
