Initialize

In "Initialize," Emmett, a college student balancing academics and an engineering internship, unexpectedly transforms into a cyborg after a confrontation between a hero and a villain. This alteration grants him a new chance as a hero, but complications arise as he navigates the agendas of his eccentric boss, his boss's armored daughter, and a roommate working for a nefarious corporation. As the city of Belport teeters on the edge of turmoil, Emmett must decide how much of his humanity he is willing to sacrifice in order to gain strength and make a real difference. This first installment in a superhero progression fantasy series explores themes of identity and power within a complex, dystopian world.
