In 2036, the prestigious Stansbury School transforms its elite students, known as specimens, into top achievers through a rigorous education and developmental drug regimen. When a series of alumni murders occur, school officials enlist the valedictorian to investigate, keeping the police uninformed. As he delves deeper, he teams up with his rival, a chemically imbalanced delinquent, to unravel a vast conspiracy linked to the highest echelons of the Stansbury administration and the U.S. government.
