Etiquette for Runaways

Set against the backdrop of the Jazz Age, this novel follows May Marshall as she escapes to her father’s farm in Virginia after a scandal leads to her expulsion from college. When she discovers her father's involvement in moonshining, she joins him despite warnings from her friend Byrd, leading to a tumultuous escape to New York City. There, under the name May Valentine, she pursues her dreams as a costume designer while grappling with the darker side of the era.
