Stick

Fourteen-year-old Stark "Stick" McClellan faces bullying for being born with only one ear, while his protective older brother, Bosten, stands by him amid their abusive home life. When Stick discovers Bosten's sexuality, he realizes that for his brother to escape their father's wrath, he must leave. Determined to find Bosten and reclaim a sense of wholeness, Stick embarks on a journey filled with encounters that reveal both the kindness and cruelty of the world around him, all while holding onto hope for love and reunion.
