The Sanguine Sands

In "The Heart of the Heart," Heth Su Canaav has been transformed after a shard of the legendary Light is awakened within him, making him one of the Sharded Few. Together with Deryn, they must navigate a treacherous landscape as they flee from deadly hunters and seek refuge in the ancient city of Karath. Amidst escalating tensions and looming war, they pursue answers behind an assassination attempt and the motivations of a mysterious figure known as Elowyn.
