The Trumpets of Mars

In an alternate history where the Carthaginians threaten to obliterate Rome, test pilot Ky is unexpectedly transported from the future to rally Roman and Caledonian forces in a bid to forge a new Britannic Empire. As he grapples with a malfunctioning AI embedded in his brain, which is becoming increasingly sentient, Ky is joined by Lucilla, the Emperor's daughter, in a struggle against both his own mind and the looming Carthaginian invasion. Together, they must navigate the complexities of war and leadership to determine the fate of this alternate world.
