These Are the Names

In "These Are the Names," award-winning novelist Tommy Wieringa weaves a moody and atmospheric literary thriller exploring themes of migration and human nature. The narrative follows two interconnected stories: a desperate group of Eurasian refugees on a perilous journey for survival, and Pontus Beg, a small-town policeman investigating the death of a rabbi. As their paths converge, the tale delves into profound questions of faith, identity, and the concept of home, all set against the backdrop of a contemporary crisis.
