In "Ofelia," set in the isolated Colony 3245.12, the protagonist has made a life for herself over 40 years, nurturing her garden and her remaining child after the loss of her husband. When corporate decisions threaten to disperse the colony's residents, Ofelia embraces the opportunity to live in solitude, free from societal constraints. However, her peaceful existence is disrupted by the arrival of a reconnaissance ship and its crew, leading her to discover she is not alone. As first contact unfolds, Ofelia's life takes unexpected turns, challenging her perceptions of solitude and community.
