The Real Macaw

Meg Langslow’s quiet morning with her four-month-old twins takes an unexpected turn when she discovers her living room filled with a chaotic mix of animals, including dogs, cats, and even a foul-mouthed macaw. The local animal shelter's reversal of its no-kill policy has prompted her father, grandfather, and other activists to rescue the animals in protest. However, their noble act spirals into a murder mystery when the volunteer transporting the animals is found dead, leaving Meg to navigate tangled relationships and local secrets while trying to find homes for her new furry companions.
