Death in the Garden City

In "The Victorian Mystery," American Anglophile Dorothy Martin and her ex-policeman husband Alan travel to the charming city of Victoria on Vancouver Island to investigate an unusual series of petty crimes troubling the local authorities. Their community involvement leads them to various townsfolk, from local business figures to reclusive residents. However, as their inquiry deepens, a young woman's disappearance and a subsequent body discovery escalate the situation, revealing that their investigation may pose more danger than they anticipated.
