In June 1897, as part of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee celebrations, Space Captain Gordon Periwinkle, an amateur taxidermist and self-styled Gentleman Adventurer, embarks on a groundbreaking mission to the Moon. However, his journey quickly turns perilous as he navigates a host of threats, including government assassins, foreign agents, and even the infamous Jack the Ripper, all while contending with his scheming family. Joined by his loyal sherpa, Tiny, and the inventive Professor Hamble Blaise, the Captain devises a plan to save his life and uphold the Queen's honor.
