Reunion

"Reunion" unfolds around the 45th reunion of the 1960 class in Princeton, West Virginia, capturing the essence of coming-of-age against the backdrop of desegregation. Written in an engaging first-person style, the debut novel explores the complexities of friendship, family dynamics, and the challenging relationship between an emotionally-distant father and his son, who reflects on his upbringing as the child of an alcoholic. With rich characters and elements of Americana, it weaves themes of high school life, music from the 50s, and the nuances of social interactions, all set in a small-town atmosphere.
