In September 1990, the murder of sixteen-year-old Lisa Pruett in Shaker Heights, Ohio, sent shockwaves through her affluent community, leading to rampant speculation and suspicion directed towards high school outcast Kevin Young. Despite a lack of evidence, Kevin was arrested and tried for the crime, ultimately being acquitted, which did little to quell the anger among those convinced he was guilty.
