A Café in Venice

Gordon B. Shoesmith, a quirky jazz musician in his thirties, embarks on a tumultuous journey of self-discovery as he navigates his twelfth psychiatrist in as many years. Caught between his artistic ideals and the harsh realities of life, he faces the challenges posed by his ambitious journalist girlfriend and her disapproving parents. This roller-coaster ride leads him from urban anonymity to unexpected artistic success, ultimately finding refuge in a desert café run by a unique Elvis impersonator.
