In a world embroiled in supernatural warfare, half-werewolf Lia de Croissets serves as an instructor for the War Mage Corps, tasked with training new recruits amid increasingly perilous conditions. As a deadly narcotic known as Punch, or fey wine, infiltrates the streets—awakening dangerous magical abilities in unsuspecting humans—Lia must unite a discontented group of magical outlaws in an effort to combat this emerging threat.
