The American Boy

In 1819 England, the arrival of two mysterious Americans in London coincides with a bank's collapse and a series of unsettling events, including a death at a construction site and a missing person in Seven Dials. These incidents intertwine with the life of the young Edgar Allan Poe, brought to England by his foster father. As the intrigue deepens, a struggling schoolmaster named Thomas Shield becomes entangled in the unfolding chaos, fighting to comprehend the connections before it claims everything he holds dear.
