In the aftermath of the Holy War, Scyth and the followers of the Sleeping Gods face a precarious situation, as the new True Gods celebrate their victory, unaware of the remaining temple of the Sleepers. Scyth finds himself stripped of his invulnerability and pursued by Mogwai, an old enemy seeking revenge and power. As citizenship tests loom over Cali Bottom, the challenges intensify, leading Scyth to confront impossible demands from Behemoth, with the fateful Demonic Games as his only potential salvation.
