Death Comes for the Archbishop

In the late 1800s, Bishop Jean Marie Latour and Vicar Joseph Vaillant embark on a year-long journey to establish a religious diocese in the newly founded territory of New Mexico. Throughout their travels, they encounter numerous hardships and dangers, meeting a diverse array of individuals, including both virtuous and flawed priests, impoverished residents, and the famous figure, Kit Carson.
