Murder on Voodoo Island

In the midst of a tense Cold War backdrop, former flying ace Captain Joe Thacker seeks a peaceful life on the Caribbean island of St. Noel, but trouble soon finds him. A chance encounter with the local inspector over a booze shipment for the gangster Jacques "the Candyman" Lagrange leads to escalating tensions and a murder accusation against Joe. With dangerous intrigues unfolding, including the presence of suspicious figures that might be Russian spies, Joe must navigate the island's perilous political landscape and clear his name, all while evading the police and vengeful locals.
