Gus, a paranormal detective, has settled into a monotonous routine after returning from his tour of duty, where he navigates the challenges of civilian life while concealing his true nature as a feared apex predator known as a Boogieman. His mundane existence of reports, forms, and cold coffee is soon disrupted when a new case threatens to unravel the fragile stability he has created.
